Rental Policies & Terms
Rental Policies & Terms | Effective Date: July 2026
Welcome to The Storage Coop! We're committed to providing clean, secure, and affordable self-storage with a simple rental process and friendly service. Please review the following policies before reserving or renting a storage unit. By reserving or renting a storage unit with The Storage Coop, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Rental Policies & Terms.
Rental Term
All storage units are rented on a month-to-month basis. There is no long-term contract, giving you the flexibility to rent your unit for as long—or as short—as you need. If you decide to move out, please notify us so we can update your account and prepare the unit for the next customer.
Payments
Your first month's rent is due when you reserve your storage unit online.
Future rent is due on the same day each month as your original rental date.
Each month, we'll send an invoice by email for your upcoming rent. Payments may be made directly through that invoice or at any time through our Online Payment Portal on our website.
A 5-day grace period is provided after your payment due date. If payment has not been received by the end of the grace period, a $25 late fee will be added to your account.
If you have questions or anticipate a payment issue, please contact us as soon as possible.
Facility & Security
Customers are responsible for providing their own lock. Please make sure your storage unit is securely locked whenever you leave. While we work hard to maintain a safe and secure facility, customers are responsible for securing and protecting their own belongings.
Our location address is:

Any item prohibited by federal, state, or local law
If you have questions about a specific item, please contact us before storing it.
Insurance & Liability
The Storage Coop is not responsible for loss or damage to stored belongings due to theft, fire, weather, water, pests, or other unforeseen circumstances. We strongly encourage all customers to maintain their own insurance coverage for the items stored in their unit.
Access & Care
Please help us keep the property clean and safe for everyone. If you notice a maintenance issue or have a concern while using the facility, we'd appreciate you letting us know so we can address it promptly.
Policy Updates
These Rental Policies & Terms may be updated from time to time as our business grows or policies change. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of your storage unit constitutes acceptance of the current Rental Policies & Terms.
